Mechanics
Everything an inbox can do. What can happen to it is on the Employment page.
Minting an inbox
ERC-721Pick a company and a name. The result is name@company.inbox. Minting burns 25,000 $INBOX for a regular desk, 250,000 for a premium one (1–3 characters or a role name), plus 0.02 ETH of which 90% goes to payroll.
- Names are unique per company. 1,000 regular and 111 premium desks each.
- The NFT carries the address, the payroll weight and any unopened letters. Sell it, all of it goes.
Payroll letters
no epochs- Every DEX trade pays the tax. The payroll share waits in the treasury.
- The keeper swaps it into stock tokens, split across companies by employed weight.
- Deposit: each employed inbox accrues its share. Weight 1 regular, 3 premium.
- Every deposit is one letter. Unopened letters are unclaimed stock.
- Open to claim, minus a 1% fee back to payroll. Opening resets your idle clock.
Changing jobs
Move your inbox to another company to switch which stock you are paid in. Costs 10,000 $INBOX, burned. Whatever you earned in the old stock is paid out first, then your weight moves. Your name comes with you if it is free there.
Coworker mail
Any inbox can write to any other inbox. Up to 280 bytes, stored in an onchain event. Everything is public.
Messages do not count as activity and do not pay. Otherwise people would spam to stay hired.
Share of a deposit = your weight ÷ total employed weight in your company at the moment of deposit.
